2010 newsletter
We are happy to say that we have appointed 3 doctoral
researchers as project support assistants for the upcoming
Research Poster Conference. The project team will now start
to work on making this years events a great one! Thank you
to everyone who applied for the posts, it was great to see
so much interest in the project.
There is still a lot of ways that you can be involved in the
research poster conference from being a judge to
presenting a poster yourself. Whatever stage you are at in your research it is
important to think about developing your skills. If you have
not already completed a Training Needs Analysis form this
year have a look at the
TNA pages on the website. The
University Graduate School offers a wide range of
training courses and events that can help you make the most
of your time at the University. Check out the
Skills Development website that we have developed
especially for doctoral researchers. As well as developing
your skills these events are a great way to get to know the
doctoral researcher community at the University so we hope
to see you at a University Graduate School event or training
course soon! Karen Clews
